Oh, nevermind…

This weekend, the Beloved and I are heading off to Ohio for a wedding in her family. We arrive in Cleveland late on Friday and drive off to umm – errr – some other place in NE Ohio for the wedding Saturday morning.

I was thinking about it this morning. I haven’t been to Ohio for at least 10 years. Should be interesting. I’ll post this song from Over The Rhine (who are from the Cincinnati area), which is truly one of my favorite songs ever.

It’s pretty much going to be all family time, so I don’t know that there will be much of a sight-seeing report on our return, but we’ll see how it goes. I promise I’ll play my Scrabulous turns when I get back.

Like to see posts which link songs places. I have some musics in my mind which make me remmember of another days, smells, places. It´s a magical thing when I hear a song and think "Wow! this remind me of...".

Hey, I'll be in Ohio for a wedding at the end of the month ... southwest corner though. Small world (well, maybe not), but hope you have fun, hope I have fun, and there are worse things than a weekend with family, eh?

Dude your going to be so close to me we could almost do a meet-up. Except! I'm going to be in Chicago starting Friday for the weekend. DAMNIT!!!...:)

Man! I was almost going to be in Ohio, but got called to LA instead. It's like we're swapping sides of the country. If you're anywhere near a Claddagh Irish Pub, definitely check it out....I highly recommend the BBQ Chicken boxty and the Monaghan Meatloaf sandwich....

Thanks Tami! The album that's from is named "Ohio" -- its really good and will be in heavy rotation this weekend on the iPod for sure...

The Cladaugh went out of business...all of them.

Noelle - where did you hear that? I only heard on one store in Cleveland closing. The location in Columbus is still open as far as I know. I actually just got a bday gift from them....
