QotD: What?! No Goodnight Kiss?

Comments

I was trying to imagine why you mentioned the Erik´s story before... OH MY!!!!... I dont believe in karma, but this was really a weird thing that happened to you :) And please SORRY if I laughed here...But it was tragicomic...Great post Steve! You saved me from my boring lunch time again... Now bye bye... My cheese sandwich is coming ^_^
Wow, daaaaang. She didn't even hear your side of the story! Oh well, it was probably better than having to get rid of someone you don't really like that really likes you....?
that was funny!!! Sounds as if a good time was had by none...
[this is good]
I've never had the opportunity to throw a drink in anyone's face ... but if I were there with you in Doreen's shoes ... I have to say I might have done the same. ;) Great story!
[this is good]
That's hilarious!! I guess the good part is that it made the date end quickly. Bad long dates are even worse than bad short ones.
[this is good]
that's so funny! i can't believe she threw her drink in your face! i mean, are you not telling us worse stuff that you did to this kid?! hehe...

that was kinda dramatic, no? hehehe.
STEVE. and i thought you were this kind, nice guy . . . :D

at the time, i'm sure it wasn't so fun . . . but it does make for a great story! i hope to look back at my misadventures and think the same thing. maybe.
[this is good]
I'd have to say that that was pretty funny. I'm sorry about the drink getting thrown at your face but I suppose karma really does exist!
[this is good]

Steve that is too funny. You see the "drink in the face" happen on tv and in movies, but to have it happen in real life...too funny.

I agree with Grrrace though, you must have left edited out some of the worse stuff you did to ol' Erik. I can't imagine eaten cookies and hidden textbooks being justification for a drink to the face.

[this is good]
LOL, i never would have pegged you for having a mean streak, steve. great story!

Let me guess, you never asked Doreen out for a second date.

oops. insert foot in mouth :)

Ok, I am with the others...what did you really do to Eric?

Honestly, I don't think there was any ONE thing, I really think that it was that we were unrelentingly mean to him for months. Death by a thousand cuts. Not my proudest days.

Though there is an upside, in one of those strange life working ways --- the guy who replaced him (also randomly assigned) has been one of my best friends ever since (Roomie).

Great story! On Steve's behalf, let's be honest--most 18 yo boys spend a great deal of the time giving each other a terrible time. I'm not overly proud of the way I acted from 18 up until maybe a few minutes ago...BTW---I wasn't sure where you were going w/ the story, I was thinking maybe Doreen and Erik--one and the same
[this is good]
Ha ha ha! That sounds like a Ross Geller moment... great story. One question though.... what does "pennying" mean?
wasn't there something about music sabatage?
[this is good]
Oh my ..... this is HILARIOUS!! And apparently someone knows more about the incident than what you describe here. Hummmm...
It turned out swell Steve, your with your beloved. ;)
Now THAT would have been a story!! hah!!

kelbelle -- "pennying" someone requires leaning on someone's shut door, and then wedging in as many pennies as possible between the door and the frame. Because of that, the latch would be pressed up against frame as well, with a lot of tension/friction. As a result, you couldn't open the door from the inside.

We would do it to my room on days when Erik had an early class and I didn't.

yes -- there was an occasional guitar string de-tuning. And Capri-Sun sabotage. Do I have to list them all??? I thought the idea was conveyed...

Ooooh, the loling that's happening. =D I can't imagine someone throwing a drink in your face! How unnecessarily dramatic.

Excellent story!
That was so funny!!!!

This is the BEST answer to this QotD I've seen yet. Frickin hilarious, Steve. Karma ALWAYS comes round and bites us in the butt :D
[this is good]
Steve, you have such great stories! This was funny in a karmic sort of way. I'm so very glad you are not "old Steve" anymore. :)
enSue -- I'm glad I'm not that guy anymore either!!! :D
Awesome example of karma at work! great story.
Aha! Capri-Sun sabotage - that might explain the karmic drink in the face.
[this is good]
